Patient Description

30 Year Old Female, History Of Previous Blunt Trauma To The Nose. Presented With A Combination Of Aesthetic Concerns As Well As Nasal Airway Obstruction. The Patient Had Exceedingly Thin Skin Over The Nasal Dorsum With An Old Fracture Site As Well As A Bifid Nasal Tip. She Also Had Concerns Related To Fullness Under The Chin And After Discussing Options For A Chin Implantation Vs. Limited Suction; Limited Liposuction Was Undertaken With Nasal Correction. The Patient Underwent An Open Rhinoplasty With Lowering Of The Dorsum, Elevation Of The Tip, Set Back Of The Tip Utilizing Acellular Dermal Matrix As Padding Over The Dorsum Of The Nose. Simultaneously Airway Surgery Was Undertaken With Removal Of The Enlarged Inferior Turbinates.
