It’s perfectly natural and healthy to want to have flawless skin. Our HydraFacial uses a proven technique to add a beautiful glow and help rid your face of toxins, brow spots, and shrink pores.

Our Philadelphia HydraFacial patients find that the treatment greatly benefits their lives, providing more self-confidence in their complexion. Below, we’ve included more information and frequently asked questions.

What is HydraFacial?

Let’s start with the basics

HydraFacial is an invigorating treatment that can be given in as little as 30 minutes. It delivers long-term skin health and can be tailored to meet the specific needs of all skin types. It offers instant, noticeable results with no downtime or irritation.

The HydraFacial treatment removes dead skin cells and extracts impurities while simultaneously bathing the new skin with cleansing, hydrating and moisturizing serums.

The treatment is soothing, refreshing, non-irritating, and immediately effective.

HydraFacial uses cutting-edge vortex technology to cleanse, extract, and hydrate skin while infusing a blend of active serums. This unique process helps improve the appearance of many skin concerns, including acne or congested skin, fine lines and wrinkles, and skin texture.

What’s the First Step?

The first step to getting a HydraFacial in Philadelphia is to get in touch. We’ll schedule an appointment for you to come to meet one-on-one in our Bryn Mawr office. What to Expect on the Day of your HydraFacial

The HydraFacial treatment starts with deep cleansing and exfoliation to remove dead skin cells. A series of pulses will be repeated over the treatment area to ensure the best results. While the face and neck can typically be done within 30 minutes, the actual time will depend on the size of the area treated. There is no need for a topical anesthetic, however, your clinician may choose to use one on more sensitive areas.

A gentle peel solution is applied to remove debris and aid in deep pore extraction. Finally, a hydrating antioxidant-rich serum is slowly infused to plump and replenish. A deluxe upgrade offers the addition of targeted booster serums, LED, additional extractions, or a custom mask.

HydraFacial Recovery

“Our goal is to help support you in a balanced lifestyle. “

This is a non-invasive and typically gentle procedure with virtually no downtime. In most cases, you are able to return to work and resume most of your activities immediately.

You may experience some mild redness in the treated area immediately after treatment and this should return to normal within minutes. Since the SkinTyte procedure is non-invasive there is typically no downtime so you can resume regular activities immediately following the treatment. You can also apply makeup and sunscreen after each session.

Our goal is to help support you in a balanced lifestyle. That’s why HydraFacial is a fast, efficient treatment that takes as little as 30 minutes. You may put on makeup and return to your normal activities right after the treatment since there is no downtime. Your clinician will provide you with more information on what to expect as well as give you an aftercare plan to follow that will involve avoiding direct sun exposure and using sunscreen.

What results may be expected?

Many clients report seeing visible skin refinement and an even, radiant skin tone after just one treatment. The smooth results and hydration may last 5 to 7 days or even longer. We don’t believe in quick fixes, so one treatment per month is recommended for improving the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, brown spots, oily and congested skin. Continued HydraFacial treatments are highly recommended to maintain skin health results.

What type of aftercare will I need?

Toggle

No special skin care regimen is required following the treatment. However, you should always protect your skin from direct sun exposure and use a good sunscreen. Your clinician will provide you with more information on what to expect as well as give you an aftercare plan to follow that will involve avoiding direct sun exposure and using sunscreen.
