Conveniently located to serve Philadelphia and Bryn Mawr, PA
Morpheus8 in Philadelphia is a unique microneedling therapy that involves radiofrequency (RF) energy to rejuvenate the skin. This minimally invasive treatment combines the power of RF energy with tiny needles that penetrate the skin tissue to stimulate collagen production.
The Morpheus8 microneedling device comes with tiny needles capable of delivering radiofrequency energy into the skin. These are calibrated to reach a depth that is aligned to each patient’s needs. The process encourages production of new collagen and elastin protein, which results in tighter and firmer skin.

Before & Afters
Your Morpheus8 Consultation
Your consultation with Dr. Ronald Lohner will include a review of your full medical history. Examinations of the targeted treatment sites will be conducted. Dr. Lohner will walk you through the procedure and discuss the expected outcome. During the consultation, you will also be given aftercare instructions.
The Morpheus8 procedure requires a topical or local anesthetic to numb the treatment area to any pain. The treatment session usually takes approximately 30 minutes.
Once Dr. Lohner confirms that the treatment site is numb, the handpiece will be placed against the skin, allowing the microneedles to smoothly penetrate to the deeper levels of the skin. Radiofrequency energy is then delivered to the tissues. Pressure and slight discomfort are normal during the procedure, but they are expected to be minimized by the anesthesia.
The aftercare following Morpheus8 treatment is simple. You will need to properly wash your hands before touching or washing your treatment area. This simple hygiene routine prevents complications such as infections. A specific skincare routine will be encouraged by Dr. Lohner to achieve the best results.
After the Morpheus8 treatment, some redness, itchiness, and swelling may occur within 3 days. Best results for Morpheus8 will be visible after 3 weeks. It is best to keep your treatment site from being exposed to sunlight, and the use of makeup is only advised 48 hours after the procedure.
How Much Does Morpheus8 Cost?
The price of Morpheus8 is determined by the number of treatment sessions you need. Morpheus8 is considered a cosmetic treatment, so health insurance companies will not cover the treatment cost.
