Juvederm
Conveniently located to serve Philadelphia and Bryn Mawr, PA

Dr. Lohner sees patients from Bryn Mawr, Main Line, Rosemont, Philadelphia, and other cities throughout pennsylvania for Juvederm® treatments.

juvederm logoJuvederm®, Juvederm® Ultra, and Juvederm® Ultra Plus are trade names for FDA-approved products that consist primarily of hyaluronic acid, an injectable gel that can help fill out areas beneath wrinkles and lines and make skin appear smoother. Juvederm® is most commonly used to reduce smile lines, augment lips, and to fill in scars and other areas in a patient’s face.

The Hyaluronic acid treatment

Hyaluronic acid is an attractive alternative to other “fillers” because it is non-allergenic, and treatments can take as little as 15 minutes. It is a naturally occurring compound in human skin and other tissues. However, like most other fillers, this substance is gradually absorbed by the body and requires re-treatment every six to twelve months to maintain its effectiveness.

What to expect from your Juvederm treatment

The skin will be cleansed and the areas where the Juvederm injections will be made will be marked. The injection process is relativity painless, but a topical anesthetic can be applied to make the injection process as comfortable as possible for our patients. Dr. Lohner or his expert injector will inject a precise amount of Juvederm into the marked areas. The injection process will provide immediate lifting of the skin.

There may be some redness and swelling around the injection sites following the injection process. These issues should dissipate quickly. Patients should be able to resume most of their normal activities following their Juvederm injections, but some may choose to rest for a brief period. Results can last for around six to twelve months. Additional treatment can be performed to maintain the results provided. Juvederm injections can be combined with other facial rejuvenation treatments like Botox injections to provide more comprehensive results.

The cost of Juvederm injections

The cost of your Juvederm treatment in Philadelphia will be determined by several different factors like the areas of the face being treated, the specific issues being treated, and the amount of Juvederm needed to provide you with your ideal results. During your consultation, Dr. Lohner and his staff can go over the expected cost of your Juvederm treatment and go over the payment options we offer.
