Ultherapy in Philadelphia

Introduction to Ultherapy

Non-invasive treatment to lift the neck and chin!

At our boutique practice in Byrn Mawr, in the beautiful suburb of Philadelphia, Ultherapy is one of our leading anti-aging treatments. If you’ve been looking for a non-invasive solution that will lift the neck and chin, Ultherapy might be the answer you’ve been looking for. Below, we’ve included more information about the treatment and frequently asked questions we get a lot in our office.

What is Ultherapy®?

Let’s start with the basics

Ultherapy® is the only FDA-cleared, non-invasive procedure that lifts the neck, chin, and brow, and improves lines and wrinkles on the upper chest. As we age, collagen breaks down, resulting in loss of skin strength and elasticity. Through time-tested ultrasound technology, Ultherapy delivers energy directly where you need it. This helps produce new collagen growth to lift and smooth the skin.

What are the benefits of Ultherapy®?

Patients are able to notice tighter and firmer skin and a reduction in fine lines and wrinkles after having an Ultherapy® treatment. The results are very natural looking, so the skin does not appear to be excessively tight as is the case with many facelifts. Others tend to notice the improved results, yet are unaware the patient has had a procedure performed.

Who are the Best Candidates for Ultherapy®?

The best candidates for Ultherapy in Philadelphia are patients who are healthy and interested in improving their skin elasticity. Patients should have realistic expectations of what the procedure can and cannot do.

Ultherapy Recovery

The skin may be tender and sore to the touch for a few days afterward. There may also be some slight swelling or bruising present. In rare cases, patients may experience bleeding or extreme swelling, and these are signs of a serious reaction that requires immediate medical attention.
